Napa Valley Elections 2014 Already Taking Shape

Even though Napa Valley has no elections this November, the June 2014 primary elections will be crucial in several races.

Candidates in Napa Valley are already gearing up for the June 2014 primary elections.

There are no elections this November in Napa Valley, but a number of candidates have already announced for several races that will be on the June 2014 ballot.

Five people have thrown their hats into the ring for the 4th District State Assembly seat being vacated by State Assemblywoman Mariko Yamida, who is being termed out.

Candidates for that race are already posting in our Napa Valley Patch "Ballot Box" blog, which has been created specifically for that race and is open to all 4th District State Assembly candidates. Check this blog for ongoing announcements from all the candidates.

Fourth Dist. State Assembly candidates so far are: Davis Mayor Pro Tem Dan Wolk; Napa County Planning Commissioner Matt Pope; Napa County Supervisor Bill Dodd; Lake County Supervisor Anthony Farrington; and Davis Mayor Joe Krovoza.

Patch has already run several stories on the race. The links are below. Future stories will all appear under this newly created "Elections" category.
