West End Wednesday: Deals, Dignitaries and Developers Downtown

West End merchants in Napa celebrate new , District 4 tasting salon and the ’s new Courtyard Café* with a special expanded West End Wednesday Feb. 1 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Restaurants and tasting rooms will offer specials and other businesses will have special deals, demonstrations, celebrities or other attractions. Many will offer food, wine, coffee or other beverages and food tastes.

Important local developers and elected officials will be there to answer your questions about downtown development and take your suggestions: Napa Mayor Jill Techel, all Napa city council members, all county supervisors, and developers; Jeff Doran, who developed the building; and representatives for Todd Zapolski, who has bought a building on First Street and hopes to buy Napa Town Center and for Keith Rogal, whose firm has been chosen to develop a plan for Copia.

Many of VIPs will be in the neighborhood's “living room,” the gift store in the Avia hotel building at 1460 First St.

*The Courtyard Café at the Uptown will not be open as it’s open on performance nights.
