Paul Franson lives in Napa Valley, where he writes regularly about life and wine in Napa Valley and elsewhere in his <i>NapaLife</i> weekly newsletter, and in other publications including <i>the Napa Valley Register</i><i> </i>and <i>Napa Valley Life.</i>

In addition, he writes monthly about wine<i> </i>for<i> Senior Connection, Wine Business Monthly </i>and<i> Wines &amp; Vine, the Napa Valley Register, </i>including a weekly news posting at<i> winesandvines.com</i> and a wine business column every other Friday in th<i>e Register.</i> He has also written for the<i> Wine Enthusiast,</i> <i>Food &amp; Wine, </i><i>Decanter, </i>the<i> San Francisco Chronicle </i>and many other publications.

He has traveled extensively to wine regions of the world, from Chile to the Republic of Georgia.

Franson formerly managed a public relations agency he founded in Silicon Valley, worked in corporate public relations, and was a business and trade magazine writer and editor. He has published three books about marketing.

He’s lived in Napa Valley since 1996 following a year in San Francisco’s North Beach, and two years on his sailboat in Antigua.

He’s an avid home cook and vegetable gardener.
