"Cycling 101" Back By Popular Demand

Napa Bike-sponsored program runs Saturday, Sept. 7.

Once again, local cycling teachers Gabby Gonzales McNamara and Rebecca Kotch will offer a Cycling 101 workshop Saturday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 4 pm

The last time the program was offered was in July.

Below is the schedule from the teachers, who are certified League of American Bicyclists Instructors:

(Classroom and road session program).
One Day Session:
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 7th
9am-4pm (classroom, parking
lot drills, emergency maneuvers
and on the r oad instruction)
Meeting Location: 625 Burnell St., Napa
Here is what you will “ride away” with:
1. Rules of the Roads: what are your rights?
2. Traffic Safety Skills: boost your smarts in
navigating the s treets of downtown Napa.
3. Bike Handling Skills: feel solid and comfortable
on your bike.
4. Bike Maintenance: learn the basics.
5. Group Rides: experience the important skills
of group cycling.
*We recommend that your bike is checked by a mechanic a t your local bike shop.

Non-Members $75
Registration fee includes ma terials, snacks and
beverages (please bring lunch). Must be 18 or o ver
to attend.
Certificate of Completion (optional)
will be issued after passing a written and road test.
