Saturday DUI Patrols Snag 4 Impaired, 1 Unlicensed, 1 Motorist With Coke

Napa County law enforcement officers, out during Saturday's Memorial Day enforcement, participated in the AVOID the 9 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 24 that resulted in 70 vehicle stops in various cities and areas around Napa County.

During these vehicle stops, officers evaluated 14 drivers for symptoms of alcohol or drug use, and four were arrested for DUI-related violations.

Another motorist was driving on a suspended driver’s license, and his vehicle was towed and impounded for 30 days, police said. 

Additionally, another motorist, David Wildhagen, 21, of Napa, was stopped for a vehicle code violation in the area of Aubrey Court and Big Ranch Road, police said.

Wildhagen and his vehicle were searched, police said, reporting that a small amount of cocaine was located on his person and in his vehicle and that he arrested.
