With 125 films spread across 12 venues in Napa, Yountville, Calistoga and St. Helena, how can anyone possibly sort through the cornucopia to pick out the ripest, juciest plums?

We did a little research -- with help from some NVFF staffers -- and came up with some daily "quick picks" to delight your movie-watching senses.

Monday
Veterans Day Film Fest
Lincoln Theater, Yountville, 1 to 6 p.m.

o   5:45 pm - Cameo Cinema, St. Helena - Sneak Preview Screening of Nebraska
Wednesday

 5:30 pm - Napa Valley Opera House - Screening of August: Osage County

Thursday
o   1:30 pm - Napa Valley Opera House - Screening of One Chance

o   5:30pm - Napa Valley Opera House Screening of Saving Mr. Banks

Festival Gala -- Party from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. at 500 First St. in Napa

               

Friday
o   2 p.m. – 5 p.m. - Raymond Vineyards Industry Mixer 

o   8 p.m. – 10 p.m. - Celebrity Tribute Program, Lincoln Theater, Yountville.

Saturday

o   10 a.m. - Napa Valley Opera House or Cadillac Theater at 500 First St.- Screenings of either Anita or Sewing Hope

o   5:30pm - YCC, Yountville Screening of Philomena


Sunday

o   5 p.m. - Napa Valley Opera House Screening of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom

o   8 p.m. to Midnight - Uptown Theatre Napa, Awards Ceremony & Wrap Party
