A new English-language book on Mexican celebrations and
traditions, Celebraciones Mexicanas, will be launched at the Rancho Gordo store
on October 18, at 5:00 p.m. with wine, food and entertainment. Rancho Gordo has
hosted many parties for new books related to food and New World culture. This
new book by Andrea Lawson Gray and Adriana Almazan Lahl covers traditional
holidays with lots of recipes for authentic food.
The authors will make a short presentation and then be on
hand to sign copies of the new book and answer questions. Rancho Gordo has
asked a local winery to sample their best and Napa Valley Ballet Folklorico to
present traditional regional dances, all tying in with the book’s theme of
celebrations in Mexico.
The party is open to the public and there’s no
need to R.s.v.p.
