Hey, Hey, Who Remembers the Monkees?
Mike Nesmith of Monkees fame will perform his folk songs, and is among upcoming musicians, comics and acts booked at City Winery Napa.
Former Monkees member Michael Nesmith (the one in the hat!) is bringing his Movies of the Mind Tour to City Winery Napa in one performance on May 1.
“Movies of the Mind uses the songs I’ve recorded over the years, starting back when I was just a solo folk singer,” Nesmith said.
In a career that has endured for almost 50 years, Nesmith made his mark on popular culture as a songwriter, performer, author, film producer and in the 1960s as one-quarter of the principal cast of the television show The Monkees.
