Matt is interested in reporting on news, people and places that have yet to be explored in the mainstream press, at least in the Bay Area.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Humboldt State University. He was born and raised in San Francisco. He now lives in Pacifica. His childhood dream came true in 2010 when the Giants won the World Series.
