I'm so excited and honored to be working for the Dixon Patch as a Freelance Writer. 
I'm 28 years old, Dixon community member, happily married for almost 11 years, with 3 school age children. Moved to Dixon 14 years ago, gradutated from Dixon High School and studied at Woodland Community College. I have been so lucky to have never worked a job I didn't love. I became a familiar face serving coffee to the locals at Java California for many years before my love of writing landing me a position at Dixon's Independant Voice as a Journalist, and later Editor. During my time there I also served as a Dixon Chamber of Commerce Ambassedor volunteering so many of the local events. Personally, I am an on the go kind of girl. I enjoy making cakes and have created hundreds of edible pieces of art for family, friends and many more. I enjoy health and fitness tremendously; on the weekends you will find me running obstacle style mud-runs and 10k race events. I am currently training for Tough Mudder Tahoe, and the Disneyland Tinkerbell Half Marathon. I also enjoy wine, great food and, of course, spending time with my family and friends.
