Arts Council of Napa Valley has celebrated its 30th anniversary. In support of the arts, the non-profit organization'sMore mission is to foster "a thriving and diverse creative community by expanding arts education, collaborating with arts organizations, and nurturing the development of artistic talent." In participation with other non-profit organizations, ACNV's programs include open calls to artists; Arts in Education matching grants to local schools; Napa Artwalk; Napa Reads in partnership with Napa City-County Library; Napa Valley Arts; and No Vacancy: Art on First, a new program launching Spring 2011. Membership offers benefits, such as discounts with partnering organizations and invitations to gala events, the arts and art programs throughout the County.

Napa's modest city hall holds the city's top administrative offices, its finance department and the city council'sMore public meeting room. The administrative and legal departments are located in the south wing of the building, while the finance department is across the hall in the north wing. Other city offices are spread around downtown Napa. The city council holds regular public meetings most Tuesdays at 3:30 and 6:30pm, while the planning commission and other boards and commissions meet on various nights of the week. Public meetings are simulcast and archived at both the municipal website (www.cityofnapa.org) and Napa TV Channel 28 (www.napatv.org).
