The Connolly Ranch is a wonderfully positioned 12-acre farm that serves as an outdoor education center for the childrenMore of Napa. It hosts field trips, summer camps and birthday parties and aims at introducing children to agricultural and rural life with hands-on training, teaching them skills which may be cherished for a lifetime. The ranch houses a number of farming animals, including lambs, goats, donkeys, cows, hens, ducks, rabbits and horses. Private field trips may be scheduled. The Connolly Ranch is a permanent preserve of the Land Trust of Napa. Volunteers are welcome.
Skyline Wilderness Park

Skyline Wilderness Park was established in 1979. Its 900 acres of land was originally the surplus of Napa StateMore Hospital. The nonprofit Skyline Park Citizens' Association was formed to operate, maintain and improve the park. Skyline features an RV park, a picnic area, a horse arena, a tent camping area and the Martha Walker Native Habitat Garden. Archery and disc golf ranges are also on-site. Meandering along the Marie Creek watershed, the park offers 20 miles of trails and is open daily year-round. Dogs are welcomed in designated areas but not on the trails. The park has been available to visitors since February 1980.
