As a feminist, I have to say that this young woman's actions are part of the problem with the rapeRead More culture issue. I read the report, and it sounds as if she was very drunk and that, in the beginning, there was mutual consent. She is lucky that she was with men who realized how far gone she was and took her to the hospital. Just because she doesn't remember doesn't mean something did. I will defend a woman all day, but there simply is no evidence that she was raped. The guy isn't always guilty.

Those are fine words Gaia, but this falsely accusing innocent men has got to stop. Thank God forRead More Kaepernick he was rich and famous. I mean what if the guy would have been poor or worse yet, what if a white girl accuses a black guy. Personally this type of behavior; an American Phenomenon, scares the bajesus out of me as a black man. Now that she has done such a dastardly misdeed, my opinion about other cases such as MIke Tyson, Kobe Bryant, Clarence Thomas, even Emmett Till; if I had a little doubt about their innocence (save Emmett Till) it has dissipated and all belief in their innocent has taken its' place

I'm sorry, where in the article does it say she accused anyone of rape? Does it say it in the policeRead More report? I don't know what the TMZ article claimed, but surely the woman in the hospital isn't responsible for what some rag runs, claiming to be the truth. Fact is, none of us except the participants know what happened, and I don't get from what I've read that the woman accused anyone of anything...

I jumped ship day one, but thanks for the advice. And ya I hope you noticed it was Alex SmithRead More throwing the winning touchdown in the pro bowl The fact is Kapernick has never had the offense clicking at the level Smith had them at in the first 8 games of 2013. Only the defense saved the team from Kapernicks two previous turnovers in the fourth quarter. And then we here that he is still learning how to play. That is the point, Smith had the experience and the team was super bowl ready, and you want to put in some unproven nobody. Also Kapernick only ran for a little less than 100 yards more than Smith this season and there average yards per run were the same. And on a personal level the guy is a complete loser. He never had a word to say about Smith when he took over, just about him and his opportunity. He cannot spend more than one minute at post game press conferences when he losses because he is simply an immature baby. The he wants to kiss his bicep and complain about the way others celebrate? So yes in response. Wow; Colin Kapernick, No thank you Go Chiefs!

Have always loved-NOT-the armchair quarterbacks, many of whom were cut from their high school teams.

1. Why waste police time since the stadium is going to be demolished? 2. Comments onRead More corporate greed would be appropriate from what I know about the greatly increased price of season tickets as well as rude behavior by the 49ers staff toward those loyal fans currently holding season tickets. "The team is also encouraging fans to use social media to share their memories of the stadium by using the hashtag #FarewellCandlestick on Twitter or Instagram."
Tom Davidson December 24, 2013 at 09:14 pm
They may have to play another game at Candlestick. The police probably don't want the stadiumRead More demolished until AFTER they are done using it. Just a guess on my part....
