Who were the johns? What was their market? Where did they advertise - I am curious to know so thatRead More I can recognise anything similar
wiseone April 14, 2014 at 04:44 pm
Iris Dandi, I agree that any those who sought sexual services should be arrested and charged, too, butRead More I think law enforcement was focusing on arresting the pimps involved in human trafficking, which is a serious problem. These women were more than likely illegal immigrants from Central America. They need to be given the option of going into a safe house, where they can receive treatment,or being deported. The reason that law enforcement should do this is that they will more than likely be out on the street working for another pimp unless they are given sanctuary in a safe house. I live in Alta Heights and I'm pretty sure there is something of a similar nature going on in the apartments near where I live. Things have quieted down of late, however. I wonder if Napa Patch would find out the address of the brothel in Napa.

Money is the root of all evil, no? You'd think smart guys like lawyers and bankers would understandRead More that. Ahhhh... but power breeds power, and they're only human, right? No worries, liberal judges will help them rehabilitate back into society...

These people need to go to jail. Period.
Rock Fan April 16, 2014 at 01:49 am
Oh , I think they will go to jail , but it will be awhile .They all managed to post bail .But areRead More looking at a federal judge in less than two days .They will all plead not guilty and it may be 8 to 10 months before the trial runs it's coarse .I'm sure there is quite a paper trail .

"Wagstaffe said that this latest arrest prompted a thorough interview by a detective, who foundRead More no evidence of any mental illness." Well Hell, if the DETECTIVE, who is NOT a Psychologist OR Psychiatrist didn't see any sign of mental illness, there must not be any, right? Stevie Wonder could see this woman has a mental problem, and does NOT deserve to sit in jail or be charged with a crime. She needs and deserves help, from a DR, NOT a friggen Detective! So now we're going to start arresting the elderly for being confused, or having possible dementia?!?! It's all about the $ right? $25k bail, for WHAT? This is so wrong!

"She Believe She Can Fly"....................................... She used to think thatRead More She could not go on......... And life was nothing but an awful song...... But now She know the meaning of true love...... She leaning on the everlasting arms...... If She can see it, then She can do it....... If She just believe it, there's nothing to it....... [Chorus:] She believe She can fly...... She believe She can touch the sky...... She think about it every night and day....... Stowing away on a Plane and fly away..... She believe She can soar...... She see herself running through that open door...... She believe She can fly....... She believe She can fly..... She believe She can fly..... See She was on the verge of breaking down...... Sometimes silence can seem so loud.......... There are miracles in life She must achieve......... But first She know it starts inside of her, oh...... If She can see it, then She can be it......... If She just believe it, there's nothing to it [Chorus] She believe She can fly...... She believe She can touch the sky...... She think about it every night and day....... Spreading her wings and flying away..... She believe She can soar...... She see herself running through that open door...... She believe She can fly....... She believe She can fly..... She believe She can fly.....

The $950 raised should be more than enough to send her on a one way ticket to Hawaii. Then she canRead More be their problem.

I think it is good to shame the johns - the families should know, especially if they bring homeRead More diseases - the john are the reasons why the industry exists, and those that target minors are the worst. If you go to steal something, or murder, and don't get the actual job done - you should be let go, despite your clear actions of intent?

I guess the police assumes that if you respond to an ad from a hooker, and even more so if thatRead More alleged hooker is "13 yrs. old", and that you show up at an agreed meeting place, that if you're not stopped, you'll do the deed, and pay the price. This time they'll pay more than they agreed to pay. You might not mind their names being shown if your young daughter or grand daughter was the one they hoped to engage with. (sex and drugs....nice combo for a youngster) Note that they had other criminal records, like: " Kerri Sinkus, 49, of Santa Rosa, were arrested for solicitation of prostitution. Lauchaire was also arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Sacramento residents Jessica Carrillo, 20, and Kandice Jones, 21, were arrested for solicitation of prostitution Carillo was also arrested for violation of probation, while Jones was also arrested for outstanding warrants. Michael Foster, also known as Marcus Foster, 27, of Sacramento, was arrested for aiding in prostitution and violation of parole."

This crash was reported in at least three other news outlets and each chose to include anRead More explanation of who Cindy is, and on each site there was someone complaining about that. I think when someone famous is involved that gets reported because of the tendency towards sensationalism in the media. Patch in this case is sort of just re-reporting the news from other sites. But it could have been edited out as everyone in Napa knows who CP is (and if they don't they don't care). I would also like to hear about the child's family, and the circumstances leading up to the crash.
bluecollardoctor April 8, 2014 at 10:08 am
I am dismayed by the number of crashes recently that have involved "veering" orRead More "swerving" as if it was an impossible task for some people to keep their car in their own lane pointed in the right direction. At least when alcohol, sleep deprivation, or texting is involved we have an explanation. But when those factors are not involved it is really scary that we have here now a population of drivers who seemingly don't have the skills to operate their vehicles.

Young people think they're invincible at this age. Yes, it can and does happen to you! Such a sadRead More loss of two lives and three left behind to suffer. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends.

I am here to bear witness that bad things DO happen to young people. At the age of 24 our son wasRead More struck by a car while crossing the street. He suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as many other injuries. At one point we were not sure that he was going to make it. But now with the help of his family we are fighting hard to regain the use of his limbs and combat his short term memory problems. It is now like it is on TV you don't just jump up from your hospital bed and you are good as new.

The sheriff's office said in a statement, "Perceiving a threat and fearing for their safety,Read More SWAT team members engaged the suspect with their weapons. The suspect fell to the ground and after numerous attempts to communicate with the suspect, the SWAT team approached the suspect with a tactical medic.
