The report I read said she and male friend had parted because she wanted to return to the car and heRead More had supposedly decided to keep hiking. Her father is the one who reported her missing. I haven't read much about his whereabouts in all this.

Yes, odd to me that he'd continue on in the dark without her, and just how did he get home? Her carRead More was left there and her dog made it back without her. Did her "male friend" not get alarmed that she didn't come back? Why did so much time go by before reporting her missing?

Their seems to be some unanswered questions on her death that need to be answered. I find it hardRead More to believe that two women could die a couple of weeks apart in the same area as a coincidence. Let's hope they find answers here...

Having just seen the movie, "Saving Mr. Banks," about Walt Disney at the Napa Valley FilmRead More Festival, and reading now that Diane Disney was a supporter of The Pathway Home at the Veterans Home of California, Yountville, I am extending condolences to her family and friends. Diane Miller did so much for our community behind the scenes. She was consistently funding programsRead More for the disadvantaged, those with substance abuse and the truly needy people of Napa Valley. She and her husband Ron, never needed or wanted publicity for there great benevolent acts on behalf of our community. I also know there generosity extended way beyond Napa. Our Valley has lost lost a wonderful woman! Bill Dodd

This is so sad for the victim's family, the driver and for the other employees.. I hope thisRead More accident is thoroughly investigated by CAL -OSHA as it sounds like it may have been preventable. Not to nitpick, but an editor needs to change the word "morning" (a time of day) to "mourning" (experiencing grief) in the first sentence. Bless Mr Diaz-Cervantes family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathy to the Melton family. I had the honor of working with Kelly on severalRead More occasions through New Tech High. She was driven, organized, talented, funny and compassionate. She set the bar high and celebrated when people reached her expectations. My life was enriched just knowing her and I'm confident that her legacy will live on through her family and friends. God bless her family and may her light always shine on those she left behind.

Rest in peace Kelly, and may your love ones find comfort with the compassion of strangers... What aRead More nice lady Kelly was. I consider myself very lucky to having met her while volunteering at RMS in several occasions, and soccer club at least once a year. We talked about kids, family, life, politics and vampires.
