The Winegrowers of Napa Valley works in conjunction with the Farm Bureau. The organization works to protect the winegrowing industry with a wide set of local and state regulations, such as loosening the Winery Definition Ordinance back in May, 2010. It made it possible for wineries to pair food with wine tastings, as well as sell of wine-related products at wineries and the allow business meetings and retreats. Stipulations apply for how a winery can utilize its land beyond winemaking. Winegrowers of Napa Valley, works with other organizations on agricultural legal issues and to promote the constitutional rights of winegrowers.
