Against the backdrop of Napa's eastern hills, more than 700 young Napans attend Silverado Middle School. The multi-level campus is located just inside the city limits and serves many district students from unincorporated Napa County. Silverado's sports teams are the Dons, a name that pays tribute to California's Spanish history.
