Napa City-County Library

Flag as Inappropriate

Located between Fifth and Division streets on downtown Napa's historic Coombs St., this is the flagship of Napa County's four-city library system. Since 1963, when it merged with the local city library, it is also supported by City of Napa funding, which helps keep its doors open six days a week.

Built in 1974 and expanded during the 1990's, the library offers a wealth of services, from Internet access via its 37 Web-enabled computers to special programs for kids, teens and adults. Its Community Room, which is available for rent, is also the site of the popular Friends of the Library book sales, held several days a year. And the library's Project Upgrade literacy program (707-253-4283) is always looking for volunteers to help Napans learn to read and write in English.
