Five Dot Ranch produces beef here in the Napa area. The ranch has been owned and operated by the Swickard family since 1852. The family strives to produce a sustainable, locally-grown product that is traceable from birth to the marketplace. With seven generations of experience behind them, the Swickards aim to "promote stewardship of the land in a sustainable, environmentally conscious manner" while producing the best-tasting beef available locally. Five Dot Ranch beef is sold throughout Northern California to fine-dining restaurants and specialty-food shops, and can be purchased at the family-owned butcher shop here in Napa at the Oxbow Public Market.
