Open for breakfast and lunch, Alexis Baking Company happens to be a daily stop for many downtowners. It was first opened in 1985 as a wholesale baking company, catering to local restaurants and food service companies. Not long after, Alexis Baking Company's retail shop and cafe was born. Today, the bakery and cafe serves a full breakfast, lunch and brunch. ABC has grown into a catering and wedding cake business as well. Owner Alexis Handelman makes the cakes from scratch and uses the finest ingredients, including French and Belgian chocolate and in-season fruits.
