Ten Napa Historic Bed and Breakfast inns have just donated $10,000 to four Napa charities following their seventh annual Napa B&B Holiday tour.
A check for $2,500 each was received by , Parents’ CAN, Napa Valley Hospice and Adult Day Services and Napa Food Bank, according to the inn group’s treasurer, Jim Beazley.
A record number of 400 happy guests found out why the first weekend of December is a super way to start the holiday season. They were treated to the best wines and food the Napa Valley has to offer in award-winning inns decorated to dazzle the eye. Local musicians donated their time and talents to make this year’s event the most festive ever.
B&Bs and inns including , the , , , , the Hennessey House, , the and opened their doors for four hours of fine food, wine and music.
Local chefs from , , , , , , , , Bottega, , , , , , , , , and all donated food.
Napa Valley wineries including Beringer Brothers, Napa Cellars, Jessup Cellars, Mumm Napa Valley, Hendry, Sequoia Grove, Artesa Winery, Laird Family Estate, Trefethen Family Vineyards, Regusci, Charbay Winery & Distillery, Black Stallion, Castello di Amorosa, the Hess Collection, Madonna Estates, Twenty Rows, Vinoce, Ahnfelt & Carducci Wines, V. Sattui, Cornerstone Cellars, Mason Cellars, Judd's Hill, Hagafen Cellars and Bouchaine Vineyards all poured their donated wines. Even Napa Smith Brewery poured their great beers.
Talented musicians including Don Nurisso; harpist Francesca Fanelli; Sonia & Lenny Murphy, guitar and vocals; Johnny Smith; Jim & Amy Maris; pianist/vocalist Rick Esser; Tarabini’s Jazz Quartet; guitarist Bruce Ahnfeld;, Greg Fogg, violinist and Charlotte Chiolero, pianist all donated their time and talent to lead tour-goers in holiday carols.
