Hands Across the Valley Aims to End Hunger in Napa

Mark your calendars for one of the big events of the charitable year in Napa County: The annual Hands Across the Valley benefit for safety-net food programs is set for Aug. 11 in St. Helena with Caribbean music and much more.

 

The 19th Annual Hands Across the Valley benefits safety-net food programs in Napa County, working toward the goal of a community without hunger.

It will be held this year Aug. 11 at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena starting at 6 p.m.

This year's event celebrates with a hot! hot! hot! Caribbean theme, with dancing to the music of the Pan Extasy Caribbean party band. The evening includes delicious food and incredible wine, featuring a stellar roster of the Napa Valley's wine and culinary stars.

The Hands Across the Valley silent and live auctions provide the best in wine, food, travel and lifestyle lots, with Rely, Richard and Gina Pio Roda of the heralded Pio Roda Family once again wielding the gavel.
