Cricket Club Opens Season with 'World Series' Sunday at Napa Fairgrounds

Napa Point beer, Rebel Dog franks, Clos du Val wine, music and kid activities are planned. (Cricket knowledge not required to attend!)

The Napa Valley Cricket Club will again host its “World Series” on Sunday -- April 13 -- from 10 a.m. at the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga to kick off its 2014 season.

In 2013 for the second year running, the America & Australia team of club members triumphed over a Rest of the World team.

It’s no surprise then that this year’s game looks like being a hotly contested one with a number of new members joining the club over the winter months.
