The Buttercream Gang: Kickstarting Their New Recording Project

Local favorites The Buttercream Gang are heading down the Kickstarter path to fund their newest recording project as so many other musicians and artists of all kinds are now doing.

The Buttercream Gang are a fun band who play good pop/rock music with songs that have melodies, hooks and nice vocal arrangements - something sorely lacking in much of the music of today. As my wife pointed out earlier tonight, they also sound a lot better than most of the stuff you hear on the radio. Their last release on their own Pitted Records label, Polite Men, featured Nigerian High Life, Tropicalia and classic pure pop elements blended together for your listening pleasure.
