Writer, director and producer (a rare female triple threat in Hollywood) Nora Ephron died yesterday at the age of 71. She will be forever remembered mainly for two films, When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless In Seattle, but she also wrote the screenplay for Silkwood, about Karen Silkwood who worked at a plutonium processing plant and died under mysterious circumstances, the film starred Meryl Streep, Kurt Russel and Cher. That may sound like a strange cast but it is excellent and is highly recommended.
