Students Return to Napa Valley College

The fall semester started Monday. Where are the information tables? What time do the food trucks serve lunch? Where's the extra parking? Here's what you need to know.

is celebrating its 70th anniversary and welcoming students back to campus as fall semester opened Aug. 20.

Dr. Ron Kraft, new college president, welcomed faculty and staff back at Instructional Excellence Days Aug. 16 and 17 as the campus prepared to open for fall semester.

Information tables are staffed the first two days of classes to help new students with the transition to college and the college's new Welcome Center was busy. Last spring many student services were consolidated in the 1300 Building (the former administration building) to better serve students.

Overflow parking is available in the college ball field lots.

A cafe is open at the library Monday – Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 8:45 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Moble food vendors will be on campus Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the library.
