Back to School in Napa: Important Dates

What are the early release days? When are the holidays? Which days will there be no school due to teacher furloughs? It's all right here in the NVUSD school year calendar, and our map shows where all the Napa schools are located.

More than 17,000 K-12 students in Napa, American Canyon and Yountville started school Wednesday morning.

It's a short week with short days: Elementary, middle and high schools alike are releasing their students at lunchtime through Friday.

Here's the calendar for the rest of the school year in the .

Important dates this fall include:

Sept. 5, Labor Day holiday

Oct. 3-7, minimum class day: parent-teacher conferences at elementary and middle schools

Nov. 11, Veterans Day holiday

Nov. 21-22, furlough days: no classes

Nov. 23-15, Thanksgiving holiday

Dec. 19, winter recess through Jan. 6
