2 Napa Students to Be Honored Wednesday in Sacramento

Napa Valley students to win scholarships in special program.

Frederick Ley of Justin-Siena High School and Korinne Wallace of Napa High School will be honored at a ceremony at noon Wednesday, June 12, at the state capitol in Sacramento.

The students are two of 185 California high school seniors who are part of Wednesday's program.

At the ceremony, Comcast will distribute $200,000 in scholarships to 185 California high school seniors from 30 counties who have won a 2013 Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship of $1,000.

The event will be televised LIVE on Comcast Hometown Network (Channel 104 on Comcast systems throughout California) from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Two lucky students will be surprised with $10,000 scholarships, and 20 of the winning students will have their name drawn for a netbook computer to use at college.

In addition, the students and their families will also receive a tour of the State Capitol.
