Silver Sensations Reopens in Downtown Napa

The longtime Napa jewelry store has opened for business on First Street, across from The Beaded Nomad, Playful Garden/Playful Digs and Sushi Mambo.

Nearly two months after Scott Leonard closed his jewelry store at Napa Town Center, Silver Sensations has reopened on First Street at the corner with Coombs Plaza.

"We closed the old store Oct. 7," said a paint-stained Leonard Friday, as he took a break from putting the finishing touches on his new shop.

The Silver Sensations move fills in the last remaining vacancy at the First and Coombs intersection. Just weeks ago, half the storefronts there were empty: Now Silver Sensations and The Beaded Nomad, on the east side of Coombs, have joined Sushi Mambo and Playful Garden/Playful Digs on the west side.

Relocating also allowed Leonard to stay with his longtime landlords George Altamura, Sr. and George Altamura, Jr., who own the First Street building.

The Napa Town Center is slated for renovation by its new owner, Todd Zapolski.
