Yountville Appoints Task Force to Resolve Church-Neighborhood Dispute

Yountville Town Council has appointed an ad hoc committee to resolve a dispute between Yountville Community Church and some surrounding neighbors over the church's wish to expand operations into an adjacent vacant home.

According to the Yountville Sun, the six-member task force is expected to come up with some type of resolution before the Jan. 21 council meeting, when a vote on the issue will take place.

The Sun article stated that the task force, appointed at last week's packed public hearing, consists of two Yountville Town Council members, two Yountville Community Church application representatives, one member of the concerned homeowners group and one community member at large.
