What’s Open, Closed on Memorial Day in Napa?

Napa schools, banks, government offices and public transit are closed May 30.

Observed the last Monday in May, was established to honor men and women who have died serving the country in the armed forces.

Originally called “Decoration Day,” for the flags and flowers survivors place on the graves of the fallen, Memorial Day is a federal holiday.
