Area Agency on Aging updates guide for Napa and Solano counties.

The Area Agency on Aging serving Napa and Solano (AAoA) has updated the Senior and Caregiver Resource Guides for both Napa and Solano counties.

The guides are available in both English and Spanish. Copies are available at Senior Centers and other locations frequented by older adults.

“One of the most important things we do is connect older adults and caregivers to services that they need to remain safe and independent in the community, and these guides are always in demand,”  said Leanne Martinsen, the AAoA Executive Director.

The AAoA is a nonprofit agency that provides and supports several programs for older adults. Those include: Information and Assistance services; Meals on Wheels; mental health services; legal services; and many others.

All of the AAoA’s programs are provided free of charge, but donations are accepted to help sustain the programs.

Information about the Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano, and services for seniors and caregivers can also be found on the AAoA website: http://www.aaans.org, and the Facebook page can be found at www.facebook.com/aaoans.
