SoCo Supervisors Speak Out About Colleague Carrillo

Press Democrat details emotional speeches at public meeting.

Sonoma County Supervisors spoke out this week for the first time regarding the arrest earlier this month of fellow Supervisor Efren Carrilllo.

The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports that the comments were emotional at times and profound.

Many of the commenters for the article are calling for Carrillo to resign.

Carrillo was not at the meeting and is said to be in retreat or rehab at an undisclosed location.

The Napa County District Attorney's office has been tapped to prosecute the case. According to the Press Democrat, Carrillo has not yet been charged.
