I've been a Napa County State Parks Association volunteer and a docent at Bale Grist Mill for 25 years; I'm on the board of the Napa County Historical Society and a member of Napa County Landmarks, for which I lead walking tours; I was on the city parks and recreation commission for four years and I am a member of the Sierra club and the Napa County Land Trust. This is my home town and I've been intimately involved with the town and its people for my entire life, so after I retired I wanted to contribute what I could.
