Pet of the Week: Tiny Tim the Chihuahua

VIDEO: This happy little guy is ready for adoption at the Napa County Animal Shelter.

Tiny Tim is an adorable 6-year-old neutered male Chihuahua with cute bug eyes and a very happy demeanor.

Longtime volunteer Cheryl Meyer says he is sweet, easy going, likes laps and is clearly well-behaved.

Tiny Tim was very excited to get out of his cage for his photo session and had a great time playing on the grass with his tiny tail wagging full speed.

As with all adoptable animals at the shelter, Tiny Tim is up to date on his vaccinations and has been micro-chipped so if he goes astray, he can be reunited with his new owner.

You certainly won't need a lot of space for this little guy and if Tiny Tim did decide to tiptoe through your tulips, he'd barely leave footprints.

The Napa County Animal Shelter still has way too many kittens as well as more dogs, cats, and an occasional rabbit available for adoption into good homes.

Now that they take credit cards for the adoption fee, it is easier than ever to get an animal out of a shelter cage and into your life.

Stop by the shelter at 942 Hartle Court six days a week, from noon till 4:45 p.m. For more information, call (707) 253-4381.
