Napa-Area Leaders Plan Bike Recon Trip to Davis

Trip set for Saturday, May 10.

A slew of Napa-area elected officials are planning a trip to Davis to gather intel on bike-friendly policies and activities.

The trip, organized by Napa Bike and spearheaded by U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson, D-St. Helena, is set for May 10, according to the Napa Bike newsletter.

"Through the study tour, participants will experience the benefits first-rate bicycle facilities provide for the Davis community," the newsletter article says. " It is our hope that this shared experience, by those elected to serve Napa County, will produce a resolve to make safe bicycling a reality in Napa County."

 Here's the list of the elected officials who have said they want to participate:
