Napa Traffic and Construction News

Information from the City of Napa.

  • Flood Project work on Napa Creek continues. Pearl Street has been reopened and the closure of Main between First and Pearl is underway through late June.
  • A final round of street closures is ahead as contractors approach completion of railroad relocation for the Flood Project.
    • Third Street between Soscol and Burnell is scheduled to be closed  through Friday July 8.
    • Soscol Avenue north of Pearl will see lane closures through Thursday July 14.
    • First Street between Soscol and McKinstry is scheduled for closure from Thursday July 14 through Friday August 5.
  • Jefferson Street traffic between Lincoln Avenue and Pueblo Avenue will be affected by construction work throughout the summer to install improvements along the frontage of Napa High School. The traffic signal at the intersection of Jefferson and George streets will be taken out of service on Monday, June 13 and will return to operation in late August. During this time, Jefferson Street traffic will not be required to stop at George Street. A new signal will be installed at the intersection of Jefferson and Park Streets and will also become operational in late August. Roadway striping will be removed and replaced throughout the summer to accommodate the new signal. The work is expected to be completed before the start of school in August.
