Napa to Host American Israel Policy Committee Next Month
National Convention meets Oct. 13-14 amid serious issues in Middle East.
Just as the tensions in Syria are spiraling and the world's eyes are riveted on the Middle East, a national Israel policy group has chosen Napa for its annual retreat.
The American Israel Policy Committee meets Oct. 13-14. AIPAC is a major pro-Israel lobbying group.
The convention is expected to draw scores of the nation's top leaders on foreign policy to Napa. The AIPAC event is a chance for people to educate themselves about policy issues by in-person consultation with the experts.
According to the website, "the once-a-year event is reserved exclusively for those who contribute a minimum of $3,600 annually to AIPAC."
The official convention venue is the Silverado Resort and Spa, 1600 Atlas Peak Road in Napa.
