Napa Man's Petition For City to Fly LGBT-Friendly Rainbow Flag Gains Traction

Many people "going red" online to support Supreme Court LGBT-related hearings.

A Napa man's petition to support the city's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents has caught fire on Facebook.

Ian Stanley started the petition online Tuesday on the City of Napa Facebook page to ask Napa Mayor Jill Techel to fly the rainbow flag in support of LBBT residents as the Supreme Court hearings are under way on gay marriage laws.

More than 200 people signed the petition by this mornng, Stanley said.
