Who's running for Napa City Council in November?

As November's election approaches, Napa Patch is getting organized to make sure you can find the information you're looking for.

As of June 15, Napa City Council incumbents seeking reelection include James Krider and Mayor Jill Techel, both last elected in 2008.

June 20, to challenge Techel for the mayor's chair.

Also elected four years ago, council member is ending his service on the council, perhaps to continue it on the Napa County Board of Supervisors: This month, voters gave him a narrow lead over council member Juliana Inman in the challenge to unseat longtime incumbent District 2 supervisor Mark Luce, who faces a November runoff.

Inman was last elected to the council in 2010.

Three challengers have come forward seeking city council seats:

, a Redwood Credit union executive active with the Napa County Hispanic Network and other local causes;

, a hospitality worker active with Napa Local;

, a retired city fire captain who spent nine years as a trustee on the Napa County Unified Board of Education.
