Kindig Rejoins Napa County Staff as Interim Assistant Executive

Retired Napa County auditor Pam Kindig has returned to work as second-in-command to county executive Nancy Watt pending the replacement of assistant executive Britt Ferguson, who has taken a job elsewhere.

A familiar face has returned to the Napa County administration building on Third Street: Pam Kindig, retired county auditor-controller, has been pressed into service as an interim replacement for former assistant county executive Britt Ferguson, who has taken another job.

Kindig's former job was an elected position which she repeatedly won, serving more than 20 years before her retirement four years ago.

She's now taking her place among the county's hired staff, reporting to top executive Nancy Watt while a replacement for Ferguson is sought.
