Jameson Canyon Road/Highway 12 will be fully closed to traffic from 11 p.m. Friday, April 26 through 5 a.m. Saturday, April 27, to allow crews to prepare to shift traffic to a new one-mile stretch of pavement east of the Solano/Napa line.
During the closure, safety barriers will be relocated and pavement re-striped. Traffic will be shifted to newly built lanes while existing lanes are rebuilt. Highway 37 in Vallejo is the recommended alternate route to connect between I-80 and Highway 29.
Also, beginning on, or shortly after Tuesday, April 30, Caltrans will close Lynch Road in Napa County for four to six months in order to complete a portion of the Highway 12-Jameson Canyon Widening Project.
