Ideas, Not Cash, Rule Napa Valley College Race

While relatively little money will be spent on the Board of Trustees race, much attention and anticipation rest on the result

Today's election decides who will represent Area 6 in the Napa Valley College Trustee's race and while the implications and expectations for whomever wins loom large, the money to back these campagins is little. 

Both the current trustee, JoAnn Busenbark and challenger Rosaura Segura have filed 470 campaign statements in which they pledge to raise and spend less than $1000 for the duration of the campaign. 

While the incumbent trustee Busenbark has a wealth of experience and is well-liked, Segura is endorsed by the Democrats of Napa Valley.
