Workshop Set to Help Napa Nonprofits Apply for Arts Grants

Workshop for nonprofits set for March 6.

 

Napa County Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is sponsoring a working next month for nonprofits interested in applying for arts program grants.

The workshop will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. on March 6 at Napa Valley Community Foundation, 3299 Claremont Way Ste. 2, Napa.

The Committee, which is an advisory panel to the Napa County Board of Supervisors ,has announced a request for proposals from Napa County artsand culture non-profit organizations interested in receiving grant funds.

Funding for the grants comes from the Special Projects Fund established by the Board of Supervisors, which is funded by a percentage of the Napa County Transient Occupancy Tax.

Applicants are encouraged to attend this free grant application workshop to learn more about the program and to receive assistance with the application.

Only registered 501(c)3 organizations working in Napa County’s arts and culture sector are eligible to apply. Applications may be submitted for amounts ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.
