Commemorative Ceremony to Honor the 10-year Anniversary of 9/11

At 11:30 am September 11, 2011, there will be a commemorative ceremony to honor the 10-year anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The ceremony will include a dedication at the future site of the Napa 9/11 Memorial Garden (set for completion in 2012) that will stand in downtown Napa west of Main Street adjacent to Napa Creek, across from the Napa Valley Opera House. Selected dignitaries will speak, a religious leader will bless the site, and a local choir group will perform the National Anthem. The site plan for the Napa 9/11 Memorial Garden and a piece of steel from the World Trade Center will be on display and Coalition members will be present to answer questions about the evolution of the project. The public is invited to join in this special ceremony.
