NVCanDo and California Forward invite you to an informational gathering about an important new Initiative, the Government Performance and Accountability Act, presented by a leader from California Forward.
The result of a two-year study by California Forward, a bipartisan think tank whose sole mission is better governance, this non partisan Initiative would:
- modernize the state’s budgetary system and stabilize its finances,
- ensure that no programs are enacted without funding and oversight, and
- shift power to local leaders to tackle local problems.
