Board of Supervisors meeting

On the Agenda:

• Consideration and possible action regarding an appeal to a use permit modification that was approved for Reata Winery;
• Staff request for adoption of a resolution releasing excess proceeds on two parcels sold in a tax-delinquent property public auction;
• Staff request for the adoption of a resolution increasing garbage collection and disposal rates in Garbage Zone Two, located generally in the unincorporated area of Lake Berryessa;
• A presentation from the Napa Valley Community Foundation on a recently completed Study, "Profile of Immigrants in Napa County," regarding the impacts of immigration in Napa County;
• Staff request for direction regarding the possible preparation of documents necessary to call a special election to enable County voters to adopt General Plan amendments that would allow the restaurant at Chardonnay golf club to be open to the general public, or address rural recreation uses in the Agriculture, Watershed and Open Space land use designation more generally;
• Staff request for discussion and direction regarding a possible ordinance calling for an election to increase the runway load-bearing capacity at the Airport and amend Napa County Code;
• Review and acceptance of the Fiscal Year 2011-12 Third Quarter Fiscal Review and approval of a budget transfer;
• Staff request for approval of a letter of support for SB 345 (Wolk) - Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman, which seeks to better defend the rights, safety, and welfare of the seniors and disabled adults living in California’s long-term care facilities;
• Staff request to reject a non-responsive bid and award the construction contract for  the Napa River Rutherford Restoration Project, Reach 4 West Bank Project PW 11-37;
• Staff request for the Board to remove its opposition to SB 1241 (Kehoe);
• Plus numerous consent items.
