AmCyn Service Center Grand Opening

Napa County Health & Human Services Self Sufficiency Program is proud to announce the grand opening of the American Canyon Service Center, located in the American Canyon City Hall complex.  No longer will AmCyn residents need to travel upvalley to Napa to access social services assistance.  Staff will be onsite M-F from 8 to 4:45 providing assistance in applying for temporary cash aid, Medi-Cal & nutritional food benefits.  The Women, Infant & Children Program (WIC) will be onsite to provide educational workshops and access to supplemental food vouchers to low-income women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or just had a baby, and children 0-5 yrs old.  Job seekers can use the resources of the WorkforceNapa Employment Career Center to find a job.

Other HHSA programs that will be available by appointment at this satellite office: Mental Health services, Child Welfare Services, Experience Works (employment services for 55+ job seekers), Alcohol & Drug Services and Comprehensive Services for Older Adults. 

Community Workshops will also be offered in the conference room.  The AmCyn Family Resource Center has already scheduled a financial workshop for March.
