Lincoln Ave. Bike Lanes Proposed

Tonight, it's your chance to hear and discuss the city's proposal to add bicycle lanes on Lincoln Avenue from California Boulevard to the railroad tracks east of Yajome Street, according to this announcement from a city spokesperson.

A public meeting will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to inform residents and businesses of the proposed addition of bike lanes on Lincoln Avenue from California Boulevard to the railroad tracks east of Yajome Street.

Restriping of Lincoln Avenue in this area would create Class II bike lanes on both the north and south sides of the street. Left-turn pockets would be installed between Brown Street and Main Street for safety. On-street parking would be preserved to the maximum extent possible.

The meeting will be held in the , 955 School Street.
