Police said she was "extremely intoxicated," apparently from alcohol and marijuana. Police said she failed a field sobriety test. Gilman, who had her 1- and 2-year-old children in the car, was arrested on felony child endangerment charges and on suspicion of driving without a license.

She was booked at the Napa County jail. Napa County Child Protective Services came to the highway and took custody of the children, according to police.
